PROFILING THE BUYER OF LUXURY REAL ESTATE ON THE SOCHI COAST

Analysts of the deluxe-class real estate project MANTERA Seaview residence compiled a profile of a buyer of the most expensive resort real estate in the country.

According to the research, 60% of high-end real estate purchasers are men. At the same time, 62% of customers buy apartments to live there with their families. High demand for deluxe-class resort real estate is created mainly by clients at the age from 51 to 60 years old: they account for 46% of customers. Besides, 17% of people in the age range of 31-40 years old consider purchasing seafront apartments.

If in 2021 primary objectives of buying an apartment were permanent residence and seasonal holidays (56% and 24% respectively), at present 65% of customers purchase apartments to preserve capital and 30% of buyers wish to live in them regularly. Buyers of high-end resort real estate mostly live in Moscow and Novosibirsk (63%).

They consist of business owners working in the IT industry and finances and entrepreneurs dealing with the oil and gas industry.
